My name is Timothy Norton
For over a decade I’ve worked in high-stakes environments, crisis intervention, trauma informed transport, security, and mental health support. Staying grounded and regulated in that world isn’t optional. It’s essential.
My foundation was built through years of martial arts training and instruction, combined with formal study in counselling and trauma informed practice. These disciplines taught me that the body and mind are inseparable, and that regulation is a skill, not a personality trait.
I developed my approach to breathwork and movement originally for myself, as a way to stay healthy, grounded, and able to keep showing up for the people who needed me. My shoreline sessions became the center of that practice.
It worked, so I built 'The Breathing Space' around it, to offer that same reset to other men carrying too much. The ability to regulate your nervous system is a skill that can be learned. I know, because I had to learn it myself.
If this speaks to you, I look forward to walking with you.
